It’s usual to see some titles get discounts on them when the number of sales doesn’t meet the publisher’s expectations, but it’s not the case for Borderlands 3. Only two days after the game’s launch, 2K Games has revealed that there will be an increase in price for Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition as of September 17. So, if you had plans to buy the Super Deluxe version, you better hurry up.
Currently, Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition is available for $84.99 on PC and $89.99 on consoles. The aforementioned edition includes the permanent access to 4 campaign expansions with new missions, challenges and narratives, Butt Stallion weapon skin, weapon trinket and grenade mod. Accurately, Super Deluxe features all Deluxe Edition content plus a season pass to all upcoming DLCs.
Recently, out of nowhere and without any reasonable explanations, 2K Games has announced via a press release that Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe Edition will be available for $104.00 across all platforms from September 17th. It’s definitely a rare case that a games gets expensive instead of getting discounts soon after its launch, but anyway, if you want to own Super Deluxe Edition, you have to hurry up and purchase it before tomorrow morning.
Borderlands 3 is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Epic Games Store. The game will be coming to Steam six months later, but the good news is the developer has revealed that their PC concurrent players have broken the record in the series’ history so far, leaving all Epic Games Store criticizers in silence for now.
