Borderlands 3 received a lengthy gameplay reveal at the very first day of this month and after that we got to know that the game features at least 30 hours of gameplay and tons of things to do before ending to extend the playtime. However, if you still want more of in-game contents, Gearbox has tons of activities, missions and stories for post-launch era.
The team behind Borderlands 3 has announced that it will be their most ambitious game with a large amount of contents to offer to players. According to the game’s lead boss designer Matt Cox, there are four pieces of DLC which are planned to release after launch and add a wide variety of new activities to the endgame. He said:
We’re going to be releasing more details about the endgame around E3. Like any other Borderlands game, we will have four story-based DLCs. We’ll have special events as well as raids. The details on how that shakes out will be announced later, but there’s plenty of endgame.
While no further information has been revealed about what post-launch DLCs include, it seems Gearbox has a long-term plan to support Borderlands 3 and regarding the release of new generation consoles as of next year, it could be possible to see Gearbox’s first-person shooter coming to PS5 and new Xbox, as well as a downgraded version for Switch.
Borderlands 3 will be available on September 13 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. PC version of the game will be Epic Games Store exclusive for six months.
