Bubsy: Paws on Fire Receives New Trailer; Delayed Until May

The next installment of the Bubsy series is set to arrive this year, and Accolade is showing off the new title with a brand-new trailer. While the Bubsy name has carried much more negativity than anything positive in recent years, this new gameplay trailer looks much more appealing than the release we saw in 2017, The Woolies Strike Back.

Along with the trailer also came news of the game being delayed until May. While initially set for a release in April, it appears publishers Accolade aren’t ready to unleash the new platformer just yet.

In the latest Bubsy titles players will be able to control 4 different playable characters, including Bubsy, The Woolie, Arnold and Virgil. Through three different worlds players will hop and shoot their way across 140 different levels all with their own challenges. This is easily looking like the most extensive Bubsy title yet.

Fans may pre-order the physical editions of Bubsy: Paws on Fire, as well as get their hands on a limited edition Amazon version for a slight price increase. Bubsy: Paws on Fire is set to release on the PlayStation 4, Switch and PC on May 16, 2019.
