First day of last month, Infinity Ward officially revealed the multiplayer part for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the upcoming addition to the franchise which is a soft reboot for Modern Warfare series. Now, after almost two months, the campaign part is also set to be announced at the end of this month.
According to the official Call of Duty Twitter account, the next set of information from the game will be arriving as of the week of September 16 with some important details on the game’s cross-play feature. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been specified yet that what will be explained during the new video.
From September 19 to 23, the open beta version of the game will be available for all platforms featuring cross-play. It’s worth noting that from September 12 to 16 there also be another open beta exclusively for PlayStation 4 owners.
Finally, at the end of this month, Infinity Ward will be presenting campaign mode for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with a new trailer which is probably the most interesting part of September’s roadmap. It’s safe to say that we are going to meet lots of familiar characters including Captain Price in the first campaign trailer after the announcement video.
In October, which is the launch month for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, we will get to see the first footage for Special Ops mode and after that the only remaining thing will probably be the launch trailer of the game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on October 25 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
