Prior to E3 2019, Activision revealed the long-awaited sequel for Modern Warfare series with a promising cinematic trailer to be launched on October 25. While we expected to see the first gameplay reveal at E3 expo, Infinity Ward pushed it a little back and finally, today we will be getting the first gameplay footage.
The gameplay reveal for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be streamed via TeePee and Courage, two Twitch influencers, today at 1 PM EST. First gameplay trailer for the game will be focused on a new 2v2 multiplayer mode. Aside from the gameplay reveal, I’m personally excited to see the first in-game footage, regarding that it’s being developed with a whole new engine compared to most of the recent titles in COD series.
Previously, Infinity Ward has shared two screenshots from the game’s multiplayer section, though it wasn’t revealed whether they were related to 2v2 mode or not. While this mode is claimed to be a brand new one, in Modern Warfare 3 there was a mode called Face Off that fits at least to 2v2’s name.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 25. The game will feature cross-play between PC and consoles.
