Yesterday, we received some potential leaked information regarding this year’s Call of Duty release. While many have been clamoring for a sequel in the Modern Warfare series, the leak claims that Activision is planning a Modern Warfare reboot of the series.
Now, the same source who leaked the Modern Warfare reboot details, YouTube channel The Long Sensation has given fans a bit more details on when we’re liable to see some gameplay and official reveal for the game.
They expect a reveal for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will take place next week on May 30, 2019 and will feature more than a simple announcement trailer. We’re hoping for gameplay, multiplayer and campaign details, and possibly a release date. We’ve also been told the campaign mode will follow modern day terrorism as its plot.
One last detail shared is that the next Call of Duty will change a lot within the franchise which claims will be better for both the Call of Duty franchise and the community behind it. Adding a return to the signle player campaign already seems like a positive change for the diehard CoD fanbase.
While this still has yet to be confirmed officially, take these details lightly. Luckily, May 30 isn’t too far away leaving us with less than a week of waiting until we learn whether or not all of this is true. Stay tuned.
