A new Call of Duty game is on the way, with info saying that more information for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (reboot) will be revealed on May 30th.
As the Call of Duty Modern Warfare series has been done and seemed to wrap up nicely with 3, it would seem that the series will get a sort of reboot for their 2019 game.
COD: Modern Warfare will be featured at E3, 2019 in the Coliseum panel. More details will easily be revealed then and will more than likely provide a release date that will usually be in November from past releases.
As there are no official details on what’s going to come for the series and what Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be about, rumors have said that there may be no battle royale mode like Blackout or even a Zombies mode. This makes sense because Treyarch will likely keep up the battle royale and zombies craze on their end with the Black Ops series.
Additionally, there has been details saying that the campaign will take inspiration from the MW2 mission, “No Russian.” This could lead to the game being rather story-heavy and filled with more emotional and surprising moments at the very least.
Infinity Ward hasn’t announced that the game will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare yet, but there is no way to confirm until next week during the 30th. Will the Call of Duty franchise become more story-heavy this time around? Also what will the multiplayer be like, will it be largely the same from the previous games, or will there be something else to keep players engaged this time around.
Nontheless, it can be assured that Infinity Ward will announce their new Call of Duty project during the 30th and if not, there will definitely be news at E3 2019.
