Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Will Feature More Familiar Characters

Modern Warfare series in Call of Duty franchise has been always known for its captivating story and memorable characters, both protagonists and antagonists. Now that Infinity Ward has decided to revive the series, it needs to return some of those key characters to the new entry and at the top of them, Captain Price will be back in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, the developer says there are more familiar characters that you’re going to encounter in the soft reboot of MW series.

Aside from Captain Price, the bearded smoker or the series, it’s been confirmed that John ‘Soap’ McTavish will also make a comeback in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, the familiar faces are not just these two, according to the game’s narrative director. In response to a question on Twitter that was asking about any other familiar character except Soap and Price to return in the new Modern Warfare, Taylor Kurosaki said “yup,” which means we might even see Ghost and MacMillan within the game or maybe one of the antagonists such as Makarov.

All in all, Infinity Ward is trying real hard to bring an engaging story just like the first trilogy. Modern Warfare series is something that you cannot mess with and the development knows it very well.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 25. It will the first title in the series that supports cross-play at launch. Also, the game is being developed with a whole new engine, compared to previous titles of COD franchise in current generation.
