“Modern Warfare Remastered, was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC alongside Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, only available with the purchase of either the Legacy, Digital Deluxe or Legacy Pro editions of the game.
Modern Warfare Remastered was developed by Raven Software, who developed multiplayer modes for several Call of Duty titles in the past, and executive produced by Infinity Ward.
Development of the remaster began in early 2015, as a result of an online petition signed by fans of the original game. The remaster came with the original campaign mode, as well as 10 maps for multiplayer at launch.
Activision has confirmed that the movement system stayed true to the original game and that the remaster also have dedicated servers. Kill Confirmed, a multiplayer mode originally introduced in Modern Warfare 3, is included in the remaster.”
