Ubisoft’s Roller Champions Leaked
A new leak showcased an unannounced Roller Derby-esque title from Ubisoft presumably titled, Roller Champions. Footage has surfaced which shows off a few different Roller Derby arenas in the game’s engine. Roller Champions is said to be multiplayer focused and will reside in the same realm of multiplayer focused titles like Psyonix’s Rocket League. As of now, there’s no official confirmation regarding the unannounced title, but it’s speculated we could hear more on the potential title during Ubisoft’s E3 presentation next week.
A new, anonymously leaked image may have just revealed Microsoft’s plan for their Halo Infinite portion of their E3 presentation. According to the leak, Microsoft will show off various aspects of Halo Infinite, including single and multiplayer gameplay. There’s also a flood of supposed mechanic and features leaked in the image with plenty to speculate on. Rumor: Witcher 3 May Release On Switch
A recent leaked image showed a possible release for The Witcher 3 launching on the Switch. The leaked image is from various retailers from the Alibaba e-commerce site and shows a Game of the Year edition of The Witcher 3 for the Nintendo hybrid console. However, some may speculate this could be a region-specific streaming only launch for the game, similar to Resident Evil 7 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Switch versions available only in Japan. Stay tuned for more on this potential leak as it also stated the game is expected to release this coming September – so if true, we should hear more soon.
Sony has revealed the official dates for their annual global Days of Play sale. The sale will last for 11 days running from June 7 through June 17, 2019 and will feature tons of exclusive deals on games, hardware and accessories. Notable sales include PS4 exclusive titles, such as Days Gone, God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man for $19.99, PlayStation Hits titles for $9.99 and the ultra-sleek new limited edition steel black colored PS4 for $299.99. The incredibly anticipated Kojima Productions title, Death Stranding, received a brand new trailer this week, and with it came plenty of details fans have been begging for. Along with a look at various gameplay mechanics – including melee and weapons combat – the trailer also gave us a confirmed release date of November 8, 2019. The new trailer also gave fans a look at the impressive cast of actors featured in the game, new item and tool usage in the game and a slick motorcycle that players can ride in the game. Death Stranding is the first title from mastermind Hideo Kojima since is abrupt departure from Konami – and his first title outside of the Metal Gear franchise in quite some time.
PC Receives Xbox Game Pass Treatment
Microsoft announced their new endeavor to bring a more extensive Game Pass over to PC players. Over 100 games are expected to appear on PC’s Game Pass giving players access to some of the best games available on the program. They also announced that their Xbox Game Studios titles will become available on Steam, giving users variety on where they may purchase titles such as Gears 5, Halo: The Masterchief Collection and the Age of Empires trilogy. There’s more news to come regarding Xbox Game Pass on PC at Microsoft’s E3 presentation in June.
Larian Studios Teases Divinity 3
A new tease from Larian Studios has appeared on their website only displaying a roman numeral ‘III’ in a cryptic graphic. The first assumption with this tease is a third Divinity title in development, most likely for PC and next gen consoles. Others speculate on a recent rumor of Larian buying the rights for the IP Baldur’s Gate in hopes of the team working on a third entry to the coveted RPG series. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Revealed
Activision and Infinity Ward have finally revealed the next iteration of the Call of Duty franchise, and as the rumors pointed out to be true – it is in fact a Modern Warfare entry. Assumed to be a soft-reboot of the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will reintroduce the single player campaign that was left off of 2018’s Black Ops 4 release. Modern Warfare is set for an October 25, 2019 release date with more details likely to come during the Coliseum event during E3 2019.
