Capcom is Rumored to be Working on Five Resident Evil Games

Prominent Capcom leaker AestheticGamer recently claimed that he knows five Resident Evil games currently in development right now. Additionally he stated he received a new update from someone that the next Resident Evil project will not release until 2026 or early 2027. Its worth noting that these claims have yet to be confirmed by Capcom. The latest title in the series, Resident Evil 4 remake, launched on March 24th, 2023. A Gold Edition was recently announced. According to past rumors

, the next Resident Evil game is titled “ApocaIXpse” similar to its predecessor Resident Evil VILLAGE, which combines its name with roman numerals. It’s claimed to be single player only with no co-op. The game’s story will feature Chris Redfield after the events of Resident Evil Village as he heads towards the BSAA in Europe.
