The large cache of documents not only leaked revealed the schedule of upcoming games, but it also disclosed the source codes and the plans of the publisher with content creators. Even more worrying is the fact that the personal data of employees are also disclosed by hackers.
From a fan’s perspective, the leak could serve as a confirmation that Capcom will continue to be one of the strongest developers and publishers for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Fan-favorite titles like Dragon’s Dogma will certainly please fans of the franchise, while also fans of remakes will be thrilled when Capcom confirms Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Capcom is apparently betting on delivering fans exactly what they would expect, in the leak, there is also mention of more classic games such as Power Stone and Final Fight.
It’s important to mention that the leaked schedule may be outdated as it comes from an early 2020 document of Capcom, COVID-19 has caused several delays in the videogames industry and fans should not expect the leaked schedule to be a confirmation about future projects of the company, most of the projects might be in pre-production, and it’s not certain if those projects will be greenlighted in the future.
