After the announcement of the upcoming Switch release, it’s still a little unclear as to whether or not Capcom plans on releasing any more titles from the series on the hybrid console. It’s possible we could be receiving at least the original trilogy of the series as separate releases for the Switch, or perhaps Capcom will use the sales numbers for the upcoming release as to whether or not there’s a substantial amount of fans for the series using the Nintendo console to make a future decision.
The 2001 PS2 title is set to release digitally on the eShop for the Switch on July 25, 2019.
