Catherine: Full Body is Coming to the West

ATLUS announced today that Catherine: Full Body will be coming to the West. This new twist on the original Catherine, a mature romantic action-adventure puzzle game from the makers of the Persona series, will include a new love interest, “Rin,” with distinct storyline elements for the character, and additional puzzle content. Vincent’s love life has never been so complicated and dramatic!

Check out the announcement trailer of Catherine: Full Body, featuring some gameplay footage:

“Is it a nightmare or a dream come true? A new test of Vincent Brooks’ morality is about to take the stage.

Vincent’s apartment hasn’t seen the last of the sensual people in his life. With new storyline elements for both Catherine and Katherine, players will have ample opportunity for new experiences in Catherine: Full Body.

As for release date and pricing, ATLUS will reveal that later, slowly.

About Catherine

Catherine is an adult and mature-oriented puzzle video game developed and published by Atlus for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is self-described as an “unconventional romantic horror”.

The game was released in Japan on February 17, 2011, and in North America on July 26, 2011, in Europe on February 10, 2012, and in Australia on February 23, 2012. Catherine was later released as a full downloadable game for the PlayStation Store in February 2012, and was also released on the Games on Demand service for Xbox 360 in April 2012.

In November 2016, Catherine was made available on PlayStation Now, meaning the game can be streamed to PlayStation 4 and PC. In December 2016, Catherine was made available on Xbox One using backwards compatibility.

The story revolves around Vincent Brooks and his subsequent affair with Catherine during the course of a week. During the day, Vincent can freely explore and talk to his friends at the bar, listen to music at a jukebox, send and receive text messages, order drinks and play an arcade game. There are 8 possible endings based on the various choices the player makes throughout the game.
