Earlier this year, Gearbox revealed Borderlands 3 at PAX East and earlier next month we will be playing the game on our platforms. This is how fast the time is passing! Since the day of announcement up until now we’ve received fair amount of information and gameplay videos for Borderlands 3, but if you still need more, the developer has shared the game’s opening 14 minutes.
As it was expected, still, everything starts with Claptrap. During the opening minutes Claptrap teaches you how to use your weapons and abilities, which a few minutes later leads into your first fight against Children of the Vault. After beating up almost 3 waves of enemies in different locations, you will be meeting the first boss called Shiv. According to the guns you have in your inventory, Shiv doesn’t seem to be a tough opponent for you. Later in the video, you meet Lilith and then set-up your own killing machine to take down some enemies brutally. Here you can check it out:
One of the interesting things that caught my attention was the structure of different weapons. From the beginning of the game until when the player kills Shiv, we just see a single model of gun in different shapes and various modifications. Probably, that’s how the team has been able to bring millions of weapons to the game.

Borderlands 3 will be available on September 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Steam version comes six months after launch, for those who are not interested in playing the game on Epic Games Store.
