The Farm 51 is currently working on a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. inspired title called Chernobylite, which mixes the real disaster of Chernobyl with some sci-fi themes to bring a brand new surviving horror experience based on a real-life incident. Chernobylite is set to be released as an Early Access title for PC on October 16, and its new trailer shows-off the game’s incredible graphics and the team’s precise modeling in recreating the real-life places in the game.
Chernobylite is an Unreal Engine 4 powered title set in post-disaster era when the whole Chernobyl zone is restricted with military soldiers and you have to survive the area without being seen by guards and without being haunted by mutants and turned humans. The game is playable solo or with AI allies, but your companions might die through your dangerous journey.
The gameplay is mostly based on stealth mechanics and survival elements. You have to manage your food and gears in order to stay alive till the end of the game. There also some situations that you have to choose what to say and what to do, which will affect the rest of your journey in post-apocalyptic style Chernobyl.
With the game launching six days later on Steam, The Farm 51 has shared a new trailer which showcases multiple indoor and outdoor locations of the game and compares them with their real-life source of inspiration, which truly boast the game’s fantastic graphics and UE4’s incredible power. Here you can check out the trailer:
Regarding the gameplay trailer for Chernobylite that came out a few months ago, it has turned into one of my favorite titles of October and I really hope the game to be launched with no technical issues and rich content next week, without any disappointing features.
