Chronicles Of Crime gets an App and a VR touch

Lucky Duck Games, an indie board game publisher on a mission to transform popular video games to amazing tabletop experiences is proud to announce Chronicles Of Crime, an exciting cooperative crime investigation board game with a touch of Virtual Reality now seeking Crowdfunding funds via KickStarter.

Chronicles Of Crime is unlike anything you have seen before. A body was found in Hyde Park and the commissioner has assigned the case to you. This is not your first one, but somehow, this investigation feels worse than usual, and your gut feeling tells you something is very wrong. With vague details of what really happened, you embark on a thrilling adventure to seek out the truth.

Chronicles Of Crime is packed full of reusable content adding new stories to the game after purchase. Utilizing the unique ‘Scan & Play’ technology, each character, location or evidence is linked to a QR Code. This means that each character can become someone else, each district card can be linked to a different place and 3D scenes can be reinvented. This gives your game the capacity to become anything based on each author’s take on it!

Chronicles Of Crime comes with Virtual Reality without the need for expensive hardware; simply attach the VR-glasses on your phone (if they are part of your pledge), and get transported straight to the crime scene. If you don’t have access to the VR glasses, you can still search for clues by simply moving around with your device. New episodes and content will be available as separate updates onwards. The base game offers 6 scenarios for a total of 6-8 hours of gameplay.

KEY FEATURES

  • No need to read the rulebook! Simply open the app and let it guide you!
  • Play many different scenarios with the same physical elements!
  • Play alone or up to 4 players
  • Experience Virtual Reality with your phone!
