Firaxis and 2K Games have just unveiled a free update for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI.
The free update goes live on February 25 and it will include a new Barbarian Clans game mode, this mode will allow the red icons on your map to become city-states. Players will also be glad to learn that a new leader has been added.
Developers also confirmed some balancing tweaks and other additions.

The quest to built the greatest empire can be expanded with the Civilization VI – New Frontier Pass, featuring eight new civilizations and nine new leaders, and a variety of new gameplay content, including six new game modes. Civilization VI is required to play add-on content and some features of the New Frontier Pass require either the Gathering Storm or Rise and Fall expansion to work.
The New Frontier Pass is now available at a 25 percent discount, the Pass includes:
Adds two new civilizations and leaders, one new game mode*, new City-States, Resources, and Natural Wonders.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI will receive its next DLC package in March 2021. All recent DLC packages and updates are available on all platforms including PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
