The 8/16 bit inspired ninja platformer from developers Sabotage Studios has been grasping the attention of old-school gamers and Ninja Gaiden fans alike. Previously exclusive to the Switch and PC, an official announcement reveals the vintage styled throwback platformer, The Messenger, is now headed to another platform, the PS4.
The Messenger has players take on the role of of a clan-saving ninja tasked with delivering a sacred scroll in order to stop the powerful and villainous antagonist from wiping out your ninja’s clan. Not only will players embark on an epic journey brimming with nostalgia taken from classic platformers, but may find a few other intricate flavors from other genres in the mix as well.

Ever since The Messenger was announced, fans have been asking us to bring it to PS4. Well, the wait is over, and we are very excited that the PlayStation family can carry the scroll and do the thing with a DualShock controller starting March 19.
