Cloud is Confirmed to Join the Fray in Super Smash Bros

So this piece of news. I can assure to all of you that nobody really saw this coming on a measly Nintendo Direct, but here it is, Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII will appear as a playable character in Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS, so if you are one of those players who has had wet dreams of playing with Cloud  in a Smash Bros Game, then I’m happy to inform you that your dreams have come true!!.

Here is a trailer of Cloud kicking some ass:

It hasn’t been confirmed as of yet if Cloud was the winner of the Smash Bros Ballot that was announced 4 months ago, however, Nintendo has confirmed a special Smash Bros Nintendo Direct for December with more news about the ballot and possibly more character announcements.

No release date for the DLC has been given as of yet but it is likely that a date could be announced in the upcoming Smash Bros Direct for December but rest assured that any news that we get regarding the DLC we’ll post them here, so stay tuned!
