Conan Exiles developed and released by Funcom back in 2017 as an early access game on Steam, featuring survival adventure mechanics that allows you to pickup your favorite character and enter to a dangerous world to make your own empire and fight against any threats at any cost. Conan Exiles wasn’t a successful game as the reviews indicate, but at least Funcom tries to save it’s world to use in other genres and titles, and Conan Unconquered is their next project in the same world within the strategy genre.
Developing by former employees of Westwood Studios, Conan Unconquered is a Real-Time Strategy that features great battles against other factions and monstrous giants. CEO of the Petroglyph Games describes Conan Unconquered as a survival RTS:
Conan Unconquered is not your typical RTS. We like to call it a survival RTS, where instead of building a base and then moving out to attack your opponent, you will instead have to build a base that is constantly being attacked by invading enemy forces that grow more ruthless and more difficult over time.
We’re also very excited about our multiplayer co-op, allowing players to build a base together and amass an army as they work together to fight off the hordes. Working together in an RTS is incredibly rewarding and we want to bring that experience to the forefront.
Conan Unconquered is set to be released on May 30th for PC. It will be available in both Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition, with the latter containing two hero unit contents, along with the game’s original soundtracks and e-book.
