Control 2 Has Officially Entered Full Production

As part of its annual report, Remedy Entertainment announced that Control 2 has now entered full production and has finished the pre-production process. Remedy estimates that the production will take 15 to 26 months. The game’s budget is revealed to be €50 million, with 50 percent of the production being financed by Annapurna Pictures. Additionally, other announced projects, Max Payne 1 & 2 remake and FBC: Firebreak are also now in full production. Control first launched on August 27, 2019. It is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch (cloud) and PC via the Epic Games Store.

 

Control’s details via Remedy:

Control is Jesse Fadens’s story. The main plot focuses on her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Side-quests and Secrets are everywhere. Jesse works with other Bureau agents, decodes cryptic ciphers and discovers strange Bureau experiments.
