Yesterday, Microsoft Store accidentally leaked an exact release date for Remedy’s upcoming adventure third-person shooter, Control. Although it wasn’t an official announcement, we had almost accepted it as true information and today, the development team has confirmed it in talk to some media like Game Informer and Shacknews.
According to this confirmation, Control will be available on Tuesday August 27 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders for the game will be arriving during the following days and it’s expected to hear new information and details on the game sooner rather than later.
Remedy has announced recently that Control will be Epic Games Store exclusive for 12 months. The game has also received a new trailer during GDC 2019 showcasing Ray-Tracing power through some in-engine footage.
Control is the 7th project that Remedy is going to develop since its first day of activity in gaming industry. Unlike Quantum Break and Alan Wake, their new title won’t be Microsoft exclusive and features a female character as protagonist.
