Control New Trailer Explains How Soundtracks Have Been Crafted

Remedy’s next single-player story-driven third-person title is on the road to release in Summer with a brand new settings, characters and theme that will once again take players to a mysterious journey surrounded with supernatural forces and filled with strange feelings. While the information on the game itself has been quite fair, the development team started to release a series of behind-the-scene videos under the title of Dev Diary, and its seventh episode is dedicated to sounds and music.

Regarding the locations that Control’s story will take place in, soundtracks is going to play a vital role in creating a mysterious horrifying atmosphere during the experience and the team music team behind the game is fully understood about their undeniable task throughout the development process.

Martin Stig Andersen, Petri Alanko and Ville Sorsa are creating the main triangle in the sound designing team to shape up Control’s soundtracks and music that according to the team will greatly fit into its story and gameplay. More interesting, Control features a dynamic system over the soundtrack selection that automatically changes the music that you hear as you go forward and progress in game, providing a consistently mysterious atmosphere with no stop and sudden movements in sounds.
