Cosmic Buddies Town is Available Now on Steam, Facebook and Mobiles

International Publisher FUNBOX MEDIA LTD announced today that, in association with NYX Digital, Ghost Clusters, Bits Cake and Threee Girls Studio, Cosmic Buddies Town is available Worldwide on Steam, Facebook, the Apple AppStore and Google Play.

Check out some screenshots of Cosmic Buddies Town, featuring some gameplay footage:

“Cosmic Buddies Town is a trip into a colourful living ecosystem, where our friendly characters work together to build their new home.

Part of an Animated Educational series for children between 1 to 7 years old – we need to get straight to work helping the Cosmic Buddies build their town!  Collect wood, food and other resources to turn a deserted island into your dream adventure land!

Kids will love the colourful cast of monsters who will join them in creating their own personalised town. Each character brings a different set of important values for children: friendship, love, respect and teamwork.

In addition to the fun of building your town, fun minigames will help children to develop memory, reflexes and shape identification.

Cosmic Buddies Town is a City Builder game, where the goal is to create the best possible environment for our characters to live. Each character has a different personality and they will bring their individual skills and abilities to the game.

Each character in Cosmic Buddies Town performs their activity within a building, which is unlocked as the game advances and the player reaches a certain experience level.

Titus sand is a material from the character’s home planet of Titus. A small quantity of the sand came to Earth when the characters initially travelled to our planet.  The sand has the ability to become transformed into any type of resource and using Ned’s inventions it can speed up construction.

The Cosmic Buddy story begins when our friends from the planet Titius are transported to Earth after they discover a strange piece of metal, which turns out to be a spaceship. We find the characters in an open area beside the sea, which is surrounded by a forest. The first characters we meet are Grutius and Rox who will give us directions to the nearby forest to gather wood to build our shelter where we can play the first of the mini-games.

Once we have built our shelter, Bobotius Jr will show us how to collect food, which is essential for our friends to get the energy needed to perform some of the tasks.

Lili will appear next to show us how to build a metal mine, a resource that will be needed to provide new decorations for the island to make our friends more comfortable. The metal can also be used as a building material for new buildings.

Ned will show us how to extract gems from the mine. These can be used to buy items, which you can use in your lab to investigate new ways of improving your buildings and create new ones in less time. At an advanced stage you will be introduced to another invention from Ned – an energy converter, this can be used to convert resources into energy units, which can be used for mini-games.

During game play, Goratius who suffered side effects from the trip to Earth will try to sabotage your work, attacking installations and stealing resources. Occasionally Goratius and his minions will launch a surprise attack and you must be prepared. You will need to invest in building security and use turrets and traps in the buildings. Initially the wooden turrets will be basic, but you will have an opportunity to improve them using Lili’s iron and adopting Ned’s ideas.”
