Crash Bandicoot 5 Was Seemingly Cancelled

According to recent statements from an illustrator and character artist who previously worked with Toys for Bob, development on a game that was to be Crash Bandicoot 5 has seemingly been canceled. Nicholas Kole took to Twitter to comment on an unannounced project called Project Dragon which has been in development at undisclosed studio for three years. According to Kole, internal attempts to save it failed. However this project is unrelated to Crash 5, as the two games are separate canceled projects from two separate studios. “It is not Spyro, but some day folks will hear about the Crash 5 that never was and it’s gonna break hearts.” He said. “Project dragon is a totally different canceled project from a different studio.” Spyro and Crash Bandicoot developer, and newly independent developer Toys for Bob recently announced that it has partnered up with Xbox to publish its next title.
