To much praise and fanfare, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled – the remake of the original CTR title for the PlayStation – has made its long-awaited arrival. The game has been garnering praise from nearly every outlet, however, there has been one nagging issue: the online multiplayer.
Various social media posts, including Twitter and Reddit, have seen a fair share of comments highlighting some rather annoying issues with the game’s online servers. There have been reports of players disappearing from races, mini-map and syncing issues and painfully long load times. While the single player and local co-op portion of the game remains unhindered by these issues, it’s important Beenox works out these kinks pronto as multiplayer is a huge addition for the CTR experience.
Luckily, the developers have responded to the rising issues and have let all the fans know they are “making adjustments to the game.” They also note that an “immediate fix is in the works” so players should hopefully see the game’s online mode up and running relatively shortly.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and Switch.
