Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled – Nitros Oxide Revealed In New Trailer

The next big remake from publishers Activision, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled, is set to hit this summer, and in order to keep fans excited about the release we’ve been given a new trailer. The latest trailer shows the speedy villain Nitrous Oxide in all of his evil glory.

The “fastest racer in the galaxy” is hitting the remake now with the ability to unlock him as a playable character upon completing the adventure mode, or nab him early by purchasing the Nitros Oxide Edition of the game. While the original Crash Team Racing technically offered Oxide as a playable character through a series of rigorous feats capped off with a cheat code, it’s nice to see developers Beenox throw the alien racer into the mix with much more laid back conditions.

You can check out the Nitro Oxide character trailer from the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter page below:

The the success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and last year’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Activision is riding the nostalgia train with more classic remakes on the way. The beloved cult favorite cart racer is yet another highly anticipated release from the ongoing line of ground up remakes from the AAA publisher.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is set to release on June 21, 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
