Crash Team Racing fans are anticipating an epic comeback for their favorite marsupial in his return to the track. The 1999 kart slider will be that latest original PlayStation game to receive a facelift in form of a ground up remake, and recently we’ve learn that some new assets are headed to the Nitro-Fueled remake hitting stores this summer.
Check out the new Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled trailer below:
During the debut episode of PlayStation State of Play live stream fans were handed a brand new trailer for CTR: Nitro-Fueled. The new footage showed off some new tracks and content – while a tweet from the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter page confirmed some new goodies to be hitting the game, both exclusive to PS4, and not.
From some of the new clips in the trailer, it appears fans will be treated with some content featured in CTR’s sequel, Crash Nitro Kart. The remastered CTR experience – for all consoles it’s arriving on – will include all thirteen tracks, remastered karts, battle arenas and battle modes from Nitro Kart. And as a bonus, PS4 users will get exclusive retro skins for Crash, Cortex and Coco – to, you know, race like it’s 1999.
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One and Switch on June 21, 2019.
