Crazy Taxi Reboot Will be a “Massively Multiplayer” Live Service Game

SEGA recently released a new Japanese recruitment video based on the upcoming Crazy Taxi reboot. The video details the game’s development, goals, and more. It also reveals that the game will be fully open world and will be a “massively multiplayer” live service game. Additionally, the video describes the game as “theme-park like”. Lastly, the trailer also briefly shows police chases, stunts, chaotic driving, work in progress character models, and more. Sega describes Crazy Taxi as an “innovative and fresh style driving action game.” A release date for the game has yet to be announced.

Hey hey, come on over and have some fun with Crrrrrazy Taxi! Barrel through traffic packed streets, hurdle off parking garages, and Crazy Combo your way to Crazy Money in a wild frantic race to scare up the most fares. In Crazy Taxi, time is money, and only the Craziest Cabbies come out victorious.
