Crysis Account Tease Players With Cryptic Tweet

Can it run Crysis?, might get a new meaning, as the Twitter account of the game has teased players with a cryptic tweet, that might be suggesting a remaster

The last game in the Crysis franchise, released for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 back in 2013, considering this, some might assume that Crysis 4 will arrive next to stress even the most capable gaming PC. But reports from TweakTown might indicate the opposite, apparently, developers teased about a Crysis Remaster in some tech demos.

Crytek hasn’t been too subtle about teasing Crysis remastered. It’s left more than a few clues in its latest Crytekn tech demos, and all the signs point to a re-release on current- and next-gen consoles and PC. We’re talking high-end optimizations like 4K 60FPS+ and ray tracing, all wrapped in the beastly new CryEngine 5.6.

Throw in special attention to next-gen console SSD tech, and Crysis will be blistering fast, buttery smooth, and push the on-board APU’s Zen 2 CPU and Navi 2X GPU to their limits. In short, Crysis could be back to utterly melt our hardware again.

Is important to note that no official information about a remaster or Crysis 4 has been officially announced, the tweet does not really indicate anything other than the hype that players have with the idea of a new game. Considering this, there is a high chance of a  Remaster, EA’s CEO Andrew Wilson stated in a earnings call that 2020 might see “exciting remasters”.

“With regards to additional product launches in fiscal 2021, we will add at least one more sports title to our annual slate. We’ll launch Medal of Honor VR title. We’ll deliver some exciting remasters of fan favorites, including the Command & Conquer game we’ve already disclosed,” EA CEO Andrew Wilson said in a Q2’20 earnings call.
