As of today, everyone in Cologne is free to visit Gamescom 2019, meet developers and play under-development projects. CD Project RED has also made an appearance at the expo, showcasing its latest gameplay footage behind the closed doors for the second time. However, for people like me that couldn’t be at E3 2019 or this year’s Gamescom, there are some new screenshots to tease us for a worldwide reveal of the new gameplay footage on August 30.
The new screenshots show-off different parts of the Night City along with its futuristic culture and upgraded residents. While most of the shots are in-game images, some of them have been directly taken from the upcoming gameplay footage. My favorite shot is the one that represents a red car in side of the street. All images boast the game’s incredible graphics and fascinating lighting.
In other news from Cyberpunk 2077, it was confirmed for Google Stadia yesterday through Stadia Connect livestream. However, the exact release date for Stadia version is yet to be known, though it will presumably launch for all platforms on April 16 next year.
Gamescom 2019 also hosts a part of Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay Contest where the best cosplayers of the game will be awarded by special prizes. Wait for PAX West 2019 on August 30 when CD Project RED’s next blast will affect the whole industry.
