If somebody asks us about our most anticipated games of 2019, probably we have to think quite a lot and then answer to the question with too many “if”s indicating that we know what games we are dying to play, but don’t when they are going to get released, and Cyberpunk 2077 is one of them, at least for me. The game was announced in 2012 and CD Projekt RED has been working on the game for all these years but still we have no exact release date for it, which is somehow kills me, but recently, the Polish studio has added a new position to its job listing, which may hint to proximity of release date for Cyberpunk 2077.
According to the job listing, CD Projekt RED needs a Release Manager for a full-time position in Warsaw. Here is the job description:
We’re looking for a quality-focused and well-organized Release Manager to support us on our current and upcoming projects and to take part in coordination of all global product releases.
Although it doesn’t determine any exact window for release date, but at least we can now think about late 2019 or early 2020 as the release window of Cyberpunk 2077. Based on the job’s requirements, everybody who wants to apply for the job, will have to coordinate a lot of important activities like communicating between development team with other groups such as publishers and external partners.
CD Projekt RED will be present at E3 2019 as its most important event to take part in so far. Along with Cyberpunk 2077, the studio is working on another AAA project and both of the games will be released until 2021.
