Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be one of the biggest hits of next year and being a big game, often means requiring a big amount of free space to get installed and unfortunately CD Projekt RED’s title is not an exception.
According to the new details that have shown up in PlayStation Store page for Cyberpunk 2077, you are going to need at least 80 GB of free space to be able to download and install the game, and this amount is not the accurate size of the game. As it’s mentioned on the page, 80 GB would be the minimum file size of the game, so it could be even larger but never think about something less than 80.
Regarding the game’s huge universe, multiple story-lines and so many other exciting details, it’s not so surprising to need such a large amount of free space for getting installed. Last year’s Red Dead Redemption 2 required over 90 GB to be installed on Xbox One and hopefully Cyberpunk 2077 might be smaller than that. However, we don’t know whether the PC and Xbox One versions of the game will also need this amount of space or it would be pretty different.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to be released on April 16 next year for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The development team hasn’t talked about next-gen version of the game but they will consider the possibility.
