During a recent live stream, CD Projekt Red announced that it will add a new metro system to Cyberpunk 2077 via the recently announced update 2.1. The metro system, called Night City Area Rapid Transit, has five metro lines, which players can use to travel between 19 stations, for fast travel. Players can also use it “as a proper metro ride experience” to sightsee. The developers also announced the Radioport item which allows players to listen to the radio during transit or on foot, and that it is planning to tweak boss fights. Update 2.1 will launch alongside Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which will launch both physically and digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on December 5. The edition will release physically with 3 discs for the base game and the expansion for Xbox Series X/S, but will only be one disc for the base game and a digital download code for the expansion on PlayStation 5 and PC.
