Cyberpunk 2077 Will Only Feature First Person Cut-Scenes

While less than a year is left until Cyberpunk 2077’s release date, CD Projekt RED has made a last-minute decision that on the game that lead to different reactions on the studio, but anyway, there’s no return for this. Cyberpunk 2077 will only be featuring first-person cut-scenes unlike what the team had promised before and unlike what has been showcased at E3 2019.

According to Marcin Momot, global community lead at CD Projekt RED, Cyberpunk 2077 will be 100% first-person in cut-scenes and the team has come to an agreement that it would benefit both gameplay and story-telling in the best way possible.

Personally, I love games with first-person view and obviously this is not a bad news for me, but the part of community who would like to see their own unique characters during cut-scenes, the new decision might seem a bit annoying, regarding that you won’t be able to check out your outfit and hairstyle in cut-scenes.

However, Momot says you can still see yourself in mirrors, while driving and in inventory screen. Also, there are very few cut-scenes that will allow you to have glimpse on your character. It’s worth noting that NPCs in Cyberpunk 2077 will comment on your style and it will also affect your Street Cred.

Cyberpunk 2077 received its second gameplay demo just a few days ago in which Pacifica, one of the regions of Night City and Voodoo Boys, one of the gangs in the game were described. Also, the trailer revealed Cyberspace as a digital area in the game where you can grant access to every bit of detail in Night City, though it will have some bad outcomes for you.
