Pawel Sasko, lead quest designer at CD Project RED has recently talked to Polskie Radio and revealed some interesting information on Cyberpunk 2077 and how it’s planned to touch topics that we face in our everyday life.
According to Sasko, in Cyberpunk 2077 there will be four main styles that will affect the Night City in the way it looks. Neokitch, Neomilitarism, Kitsch and Entropism are the aforementioned styles of which we received some concept arts a few weeks after E3 2019. The styles will affect the architecture, clothing and purposes of their followers.
Aside from styles, Sasko also clarified a little bit on how the story and setting will be connecting to our real-world life. He says CDPR attempts to deliver a movie-like story only for adults. There will be so many mentions to the problems and issues that we encounter in the real world every day. The game won’t shy away from topics that currently have become a disaster for us. CD Projekt RED is planning to tell us a story with breathtaking moments and tough situations where you have to make a decision that will affect each sides inevitably.
In Night City, V, like everyone, is trying to find a better place to live and a better situation. This will then be tied to achieving the immortality chip, which lead you to meet Johnny Silverhand, a key part of the story with most lines of dialogues after V.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Recently, the game has received a new screenshot, showcasing a hammer-holding enemy. Fortunately, all Gamescom 2019 attendees will be able to see the new gameplay footage of the game, while others have to wait until August 30.
