Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Take 200Gbs of Storage Says CD Projekt Red

CD Projekt Red has addressed a complicated topic ahead of the launch of Cyberpunk 2077, the download size. Fans expressed their concern on Reddit, as the huge RPG seems to have a lot of content and cinematics. Marcin Momot, Head of Communications at CD Projekt Red “The game won’t take up 200GB when installed. You can expect the required HDD space to be on par with other modern titles.”

Momot also said that the full system requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 should be “coming soon,”.

Cyberpunk 2077 was recently part of NVIDIA’s showcase of the new GeForce RTX 30, a new gameplay trailer was shown to display the ray-tracing, DLSS coming to the RTX Series.

In recent news, CD Projekt Red has nearly doubled its revenue over the last year, this was confirmed in the company’s financial report.

“The free movement restrictions and stay-at-home orders introduced in many countries in March 2020 evidently increased the popularity of videogames and helped their sales, particularly in the context of digital distribution,” read a portion of the company’s financial report [PDF].”
