Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition Coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series

THQ Nordic has announced that it will release Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on October 15. It will cost $29.99. Players who already own the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will receive the upcoming versions as a free upgrade. Additionally, players who pre-order the game before October 14 will receive it for $15. The upgrades include faster load times, great visuals, Haptic Feedback, and more. A trailer for the upcoming versions was also released. Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Gunfire Games released a new teaser trailer last month announcing that a new Darksiders game is now in development.

This upgraded edition of the beloved action–adventure brings 4K resolution, ray tracing, and enhanced lighting and shadows to harness the power of today’s consoles. If you’re playing on PlayStation 5 with a DualSense controller, you’ll also get to experience the full impact of haptic feedback, adding extra depth and immersion to every strike as Death. The game’s loading times have been drastically improved thanks to SSD technology, ensuring a smoother experience overall.
