Days Gone, Sony’s first triple-A exclusive title for this year, maybe didn’t succeed in reviews the way God of War did last year, but the developer behind the game managed to support it with monthly and weekly contents, while a story-driven DLC is still in the works. If you’ve finished the game previously, it might make you happy to hear that the addition of this month is New Game Plus mode and it will be available on September 13.
According to Bend Studios, you will be able to start your journey with Deacon St. John once again in wastelands of Days Gone once again, but this time around you will be able to use your all collectibles, weapons and abilities that you’ve gathered through your first experience in Days Gone.
New Game Plus mode will allow you to start the game from any available saves and missions with the ability to choose difficulty level regarding that two new difficulty levels will also be added along with the new mode: Hard 2 and Survival 2.
When it comes to reviews, Days Gone didn’t perform like a successful exclusive game for PlayStation 4 and Sony, but in case of sales it did shine among some big titles at launch including Mortal Kombat 11. Despite the fact that Mortal Kombat 11 was launched on 4 platforms and Days Gone only on one, the fighting title couldn’t win the sales competition within the first few weeks and Days Gone stood at top of UK Sales chart at launch.
Bend Studios is currently working on post-launch contents for Days Gone, but a sequel for the game in the future is probable regarding the fans’ great reception of the game.
