Video games and their developer always have two different fields to be successful at and while some titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 manage to perform greatly in both of them, some fail in hitting the milestones in one of them and some other miss both. But what are those fields that we are talking about? Well if you ask me, first one is sales of the game which is somehow related to the fans reception of the game and the other is media’s reaction to the title which can help out success of the game in markets. For Days Gone, reviews didn’t come out as they were expected, but in terms of sales, Bend Studios open-world survival is doing really great.
According to latest update of UK Sales chart which shows the statistics for the last week, Days Gone has secured its first place for the third consecutive week as of launch. Meanwhile, Mortal Kombat 11 and FIFA 19 also remained in their stages just like two previous weeks. However, the magical thing about this week’s chart isn’t leadership of Days Gone for the third time nor is the Mortal Kombat’s second place despite its four platforms as of launch. If you compare this week’s chart to that of last week, all of the titles are in the same place except three games that has seen a change in their placement.
The Division 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe has swapped their ranks, with The Division 2 stepping up to take over the 7th place and Switch’s exclusive title fell down to stand in 8th place. The other difference in this week’s chart, relates to 10th place that has gone out of Anthem’s control to get ruled by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Here you can see the full list for UK Sales Chart:
