Dead Cells Sales Surpassed 1 Million Units

Looking for a hardcore game to keep you in front of screen for hours? While Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a trending option right now, but if you want to experience something new, Dead Cells is one of those games that you never want to miss. 2D action roguelike game, developed by Motion Twin, released as an early access game in Spring 2017 and after more than one year, made its way to current-gen consoles, receiving honorable reviews from the media and hitting the Metascore of 89 on Switch.

According to GDC 2019 panel, leading by Motion Twin, Dead Cells has sold more than 1 million copies so far and PC gamers are on top of the chart by dedicating 60 percent of this amount to themselves. On the other hand, Nintendo Switch leads the sales among consoles.

Hitting one million units in almost 7 months for an indie game, is hopeful enough for the developers to continue their way stronger than before, as they are preparing a DLC for Dead Cells, named “Rise of the Giant”, in which you will fight with new boss and hold new weapons against your enemies. The upcoming DLC also features a new ending for the game, if you are looking for a different taste of the previous ending. It will be available for all platforms on March 28.
