Publisher PLAION and developer Dambuster Studios have announced a new game mode for Dead Island 2 called “Neighborhood Watch”. It will launch as a free update on October 22 alongside the upcoming Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition. A new trailer was also released. Neighborhood Watch is a new cooperative horde mode where players “work together against swarms of zombies, including a new way to strategize against the undead.” Dead Island 2 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Epic Games Store. It will launch on April 22 for Steam.

Patch 6 will introduce all Dead Island 2 players to the Neighborhood Watch game mode, a new cooperative horde mode. Developed by Fishlabs in collaboration with Dambuster studios, players will have to work together against swarms of zombies, including a new way to strategize against the undead.
