In order to offer players a better experience Dead Or Alive 6 has been delayed from its initial release schedule on February 15th to March 1st, the announcement was made via Twitter and on DOA’s website.
Read below Team Ninja Producer Yohei Shimbori’s official statement:
I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of Dead or Alive 6.
The title’s development is already near complete, however we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity.
In return for your additional patience, we commit to bringing you the best gaming experience we can.
Also it seems that Team Ninja is planning to release a demo after a series of tweets that tease players by saying
We hope all the recent videos have gotten you hungry for some DOA action. Perhaps the time has come to give our fighters a chance to TEST their skills. Make sure to follow us here so you don’t miss any updates.. . . #DOA6 #DEADORALIVE6 pic.twitter.com/yXYEk8233N

In addition to the trial tease, some of the most recent Dead or Alive 6 videos have been showing how helpful the wall and dangerzones will be in the upcoming game. In one video, we see how applying pressure to an opponent and forcing them against the wall can help a player deal damage and stay on top of a situation.
When fighting in any of the arenas, always position your opponent close to a wall or dangerzone. Doing so will help you diminish their life bar helping you get closer to victory! Are you fighters always aware of your surroundings? #DOA6 #DEADORALIVE6 pic.twitter.com/YTyRkNuECB
