2016 is the year of Dead Rising and what better way to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the series than to re-live the classic zombie outbreaks. Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for digital download on September 13th, 2016 across North America and Europe.
All the games are being remastered up to 1080p, 60fps for both Xbox One and PS4. All of the previously released DLC costumes also come included in these remasters.
Launching digitally on September 13th the three titles will be available individually for €19.99/£15.99/$19.99 or purchase all three as a pre-order “Dead Rising Triple Pack” bundle for $49.99/£39.99/$49.99 on Xbox One and PS4.
“The Xbox Store also revealed the first look at the “Dead Rising” remasters via a set of screenshots from each of the games’ listing (“Dead Rising,” “Dead Rising 2” and “DR2: Off the Record”). The screenshots showcase the improved graphics and additional details that players will get to experience soon.
Furthermore, the Xbox Store also revealed that the remasters are not being helmed by Capcom, but rather by the Polish studio QLOC and Mercernary Technology,IGN reported. QLOC is the same team that worked on the PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and PC ports of “DmC: Devil May Cry” and now it is responsible for porting “Dead Rising.” “Dead Rising 2” and “Dead Rising 2: Off the Record” current-generation ports are carried out by Mercenary, the studio behind “God of War 3″ remastered version.”
