Death Stranding Directors Cut PC Release Announced

Fans of Death Stranding and PC gaming are ecstatic today. Following its leak, from the intel press release, Kojima Productions, and 505 Games have announced the game’s official PC release later this 2022. The game was initially released in 2019 for PlayStation and is now getting its director cut added to steam years later.

Features of the game, as well as a release date, are shown on its Steam page, however, the release date simply states “2022” so the exact month remains uncertain. Some of the features that the game will include with its PC release are quoted here from the game’s steam page.

Quote from Death Stranding Steam Page

“DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT on PC includes HIGH FRAME RATE, PHOTO MODE and ULTRA-WIDE MONITOR SUPPORT. Also includes cross-over content from Valve Corporation’s HALF-LIFE series and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. Stay connected with players around the globe with the Social Strand System™.”

Bundled in with the In-game features, All copies of the game will also consider the following.

Backpack Patches
Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Gold)

Power Gloves (Gold)
Bridges Special Delivery Team Suit (Silver)

Unfortunately, there are no exact details on the required PC specs to run this game on Steam. So for the time being, there is no way of telling which systems will be compatible and which systems will not. Although, the developers were kind enough to mention that it will be a spring release. We should be expecting further details within the coming months and a release date of May at the latest.
