Hideo Kojima might love to play games with his audience in revealing details about Death Stranding, and the community might like to decrypt the codes which are lied behind every image, word and footage that Kojima shares about the game, but when it comes to promises, Kojima never betrays his fans. During Tribeca Film Festival earlier this month, the director behind PS4’s upcoming mysterious title revealed that there will be new information on Death Stranding in a month or so, and now the new trailer has been announced to come out on May 29.
Yesterday, Hideo Kojima shared a brief teaser of Death Stranding on his Twitter account, encouraging audience to “Create the rope” and a few hours later, Kojima Productions revealed via a post at Twitter that new information about Death Stranding will be arriving on Wednesday, this week.
While it still remains as a mystery that what those new details could be, it’s safe to say that we’re going to get a new trailer of the game, as Kojima has teased it recently via Twitter. It’s being said that the new trailer will be fully focused on explaining gameplay mechanics and describing the genre that Death Stranding is developed in. Also, the possibility for determining a launch window for the game seems to be high.
Last time that we get new information on Death Stranding was at Tokyo Game Show 2018, where we got to meet a new character called Golden Mask who is played by Troy Baker.
