Death Stranding Release Date Leaked by Walmart Canada

Death Stranding Release Date Leaked by Walmart Canada

Currently, there isn’t an official announcement about the release date of the much anticipated game by acclaimed director Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding, but today a Twitter user by the name of Yinob, posted an screenshot from the Walmart Canada store, asking about the release date that shows in the pre-order listing of the game, to which Walmart Canada responded that the game will ship on June 2019.

This retailer previously leaked the existence of the upcoming popular game RAGE 2, so the information about the release date of Death Stranding could be accurate. But even so, we recommend that gamers should take this news with a grain of salt, as it is common with rumors and leaks to be fake.

Check out the screenshot that Yinob took to the Walmart Canada product detail page of the Death Stranding pre-order:

Check out the Twitter post by Yinob, where he posted the screenshot and Walmart Canada responded that its is indeed the launch date:

VG24/7 said in an article on their website:

“Game Awards host Geoff Keighley put out a cheeky tweet last night about the announcements at the upcoming awards show.

“Today we start transitioning into #TheGameAwards world premiere land,” he said. “There are a LOT of games we won’t be talking about at all until the show (All eyes on you @WalmartCanada) but we do have some great things to tease/announce in the week ahead.”

This is likely just some social media person not clued in on the industry, but it’s too funny to not share. Also, they say “Hi Yinob”, and they leaked Rage 2. So there.”
