Read below the official description for Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris:

“Curse of Osiris is Destiny 2’s first expansion and sends you back to the stars to solve a new mystery. The Vex are on the march, and our only hope to stop them may lie with Osiris, the notorious heretic and most powerful Warlock in the history of the Last City. On your quest to find him, you’ll meet new characters, explore new places, tackle new challenges, and earn some sweet new loot.”

Check out the Trailer:

“We got a first look at Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris DLC from the PlayStation Live event in Paris today. We already knew the name, but thanks to the trailer we now have some interesting details and a release date. December 5th is the day we shall get access to the first of Destiny 2‘s DLC. The DLC would seem to take place on Mercury, with the main antagonists being the Vex. The trailer gave some glimpses of some Vex wearing interesting and ornate armor plating.

The DLC will also see the return of Osiris, not just mentioned as the dark legend that he is, but in the trailer we see him in action. Ikora refers to him as the most notorious Guardian in Vanguard history, a man who nearly destroyed them all. Now Osiris is back, his allegiance unknown, and it is up to the player to figure out this mystery. Is he back to help those he once fought beside, or to exact vengeance on the people who banished him?

There are clues spread throughout the normal game as well. Two adventures of Nessus in particular stand out. In Deep Conversation you help Failsafe to hack some Vex data caches, and she mentions talking to Osiris while she does so. In Hack The Planet, you try to use Failsafe to hack the core of Nessus. In her attempt she gets trapped in there for what feels like ten years to her before you save her. While in there she mentions talking to someone who gave her information on the Vex’s plan for the universe. Could this all be linked to the DLC?”
