Regardless of Ninja Theory’s disloyal DmC, it took Capcom 11 years to develop a true sequel for Devil May Cry 4, which released back in 2008. Devil May Cry 5 was exactly what the community expected to see from Hideaki Itsuno and his team, which has been proved by honorable reviews from media and great number of sales after launch. While players have probably finished the game so far, Capcom hasn’t done with it yet, as the developer released Bloody Palace update for free today.
Bloody Palace is a brand new mode in which you are going to fight against numerous enemies and bosses through 100 levels. During each level, you’ll encounter with bunch of enemies that you are tasked to kill, and as you progress in levels, you are enemies become stronger than before and as a result, your survival needs more skills and accurate movements. Nero, Dante and V are all available through this mode but you cannot switch between them during levels. Here you can check out Bloody Palace trailer for more details on it:
No further upcoming content has been confirmed for Devil May Cry 5 yet and it remains a mystery whether Capcom has any plans to develop more gameplay and story-driven updates for the game or not. While Devil May Cry 5 topped UK Charts in it’s first week of release and managed to sell more than 2 million units within 2 weeks, it’s not surprising if Capcom decides to support the game with more contents in order to expand it’s community.
Devil May Cry 5 is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For more information on the game follow Gaming Instincts on Twitter and don’t forget to check out daily news here.
